Common Questions

How long can I store the meats?
  • For chilled meats, you can store them in the refrigerator for up to 3 days from the delivery date.

  • For frozen meats, you can store them in the freezer for up to 2 months from the delivery date.
Why is my meat brown?

Packed beef may exhibit a slight brownish coloration as a consequence of oxidation, which occurs when myoglobin, a component responsible for its red colour, is deprived of oxygen. To restore the natural red colour of packed beef, simply remove the packaging and expose the meat to oxygen for approximately 20 to 30 minutes. The red colour will reappear as the myoglobin interacts with the available oxygen. To ensure freshness, we advise consuming fresh meat within 3 to 4 days from the delivery date. Please follow proper storage guidelines to maintain its quality and taste.

How can I defrost the frozen meats?
  • We recommend defrosting in the refrigerator one day before use to retain the quality and flavour.

  • Alternatively, you can defrost by soaking the meats in water for around two to three hours while keeping them in their packaging.
Do I need to wash the meats before cooking?

No, you do not need to wash the meats before cooking. However, for those preparing soup or braised dishes, you can opt to remove any excess blood by soaking the meats in water for a while and storing them in a container covered with wrap.

Can I use an air fryer to cook the meats?

We do not recommend cooking our meats in an airfryer, as the quality may be compromised. If you don't have a grill at home, we suggest opting for pan-frying as an alternative cooking method.

How do I eat your Sous Vide Chicken Breast?

Our sous vide chicken breast is already precooked. You can enjoy it straight after thawing, or if you prefer a warm meal, heat it up in the microwave for 30 seconds or immerse it in water that has been boiled for 3 minutes.

Should I freeze your fresh meal-kits?

Please refrain from freezing our fresh meal kits, as they are designed to be stored chilled. Freezing may impact the quality of the fresh vegetables included in the kits.

Why does the makgeolli I bought taste sour?

Makgeolli is a fermented beverage, and its characteristic slight sourness is a natural outcome of the fermentation process. The sour taste is a normal feature of this traditional Korean drink. Additionally, due to its fermented nature, makgeolli has a relatively short shelf life. The flavours can evolve over time, and the beverage may become more sour as it continues to ferment. Therefore, it is advisable to consume makgeolli within the recommended timeframe to enjoy its intended taste.
